Edie, I think you would benefit from breaking apart your type so it’s not all on one line of text. Hopefully, you tried this in your next 2 pages. Though some words demand more focus and than others, the final row of iterations in your second page are all very similar. I also recommend more of a margin (white space) around the edge of your boxes/pages. Right now the type is very close to the edge and it can feel uncomfortable to read. I think the biggest challenge you face is that you selected a longer quote so you will have to be very selective with the words you choose to bring attention to.
the lower page could have some more contrast, a lot of the changes seem similar
