Here are the first 30 iterations I have. I feel like a few of them need something extra or need changing, so feel free to give feedback! Here are the first 30 iterations I have. I feel like a few of them need something extra or need changing, so feel free to give feedback!
Lots of experimentation going on and you try out different methods to get the quote emphasized.
I have one critique, though feel free to let me know if there was a purpose behind it and I just didn’t get it.
In the absolute last box of the first 30, I think that it would be more impactful if you switched up the leading to move the ‘everything’ to rest lower so that it gets to be emphasized between the rest of the quote and Michael Beirut.
I look forward to seeing your next 30 in class!! I think they’re going to come out amazing. 🙂
Looking great Sydney. Lots of experimentation while still being very readable. Sometimes when leading is very tight, or when the type is very close to the edge of the page it can create an uncomfortable claustrophobic element to the design. Keep that in mind, and I look forward to the next 30.
Great use of space. The bold letters are great eye-catchers.
