Thus far, I’ve developed a few layouts and did some research.
I wanted to go with a wider layout, utilizing the horizontal length rather than vertical.I contemplated on a circular or oval shaped book, but it’s just a consideration.Though this isn’t my favorite layout, the idea of a radial illustration sitting on the binding of the book appealed to me.
A tired and uncertain art student currently majoring in Illustration at PrattMWP. Much of my work is gore art, as well as body horror art with an immense emphasis on anatomy.

I like the variety of your thumbnails. Personally, I think that the Circular book is a very interesting concept but being able to cut that circle the same for every page would be difficult. Maybe a square book with a giant oval connecting two pages. Mixing the central circle idea with the circular book idea… kinda. Just a concept.
