Assignment 2 – Thumbnails!

Below are both the first sketches and then colored compositions.

Here are the first (very rough) sketches!

And here are the colored compositions, including the text! Any feedback on which you all think is best and I should play around with more would be so much appreciated!

A tired and uncertain art student currently majoring in Illustration at PrattMWP. Much of my work is gore art, as well as body horror art with an immense emphasis on anatomy.

  1. I really like the first two rows of sketches, they give me Bauhaus vibes, nice use of shapes! As far as the color sketches, I think your first design is super strong and there’s a nice nod to Paul Sahre’s style, I just wonder if the time of the lecture is prominent enough? I would try varying the colors of the actual text to break it up a little bit, but this is a strong sketch imo. I also really dig the two blue designs, nice use of lines to box in the information and still give it flow.
